Timon Plass is a Senior Research Associate and has been working with IKEM since January 2021. Prior to that, he completed his three-month elective at IKEM in the summer of 2020.
He is involved in various projects (HEAT, AStriD) on legal issues related to autonomous driving as well as automation of trams and cars. His research also covers public transportation, new and sustainable mobility services, as well as national and international data protection regulations.
He studied Law at the Alberts-Ludwigs-University Freiburg and the National and Kapodistrian University Athens with a focus on intellectual property law. He conducted his Legal Traineeship at Landgericht Chemnitz which included a stage at the Legal Directorate of the MDR Leipzig and at a law office specialized in family law.
