Professor of Political Arithmetic at the University of Amsterdam
Dr. Daniel Mügge is Professor of Political Arithmetic at the University of Amsterdam. There he studies the European regulation of artificial intelligence, especially with an eye to global technological and geopolitical competition. Before his work on AI, he has managed a large research project on the politics of economic statistics and investigated the European regulation of investment banking. Daniel has been a visiting scholar at the London School of Economics and Harvard University, and most recently spent a year at his alma mater, the Freie Universität in Berlin.
