Pierre Golbach is a Research Associate at the Israel Public Policy Institute (IPPI). Pierre is an experienced political analyst focusing on the intersection of international financial institutions and sustainable economic development. He has worked for the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), focusing on cooperation with the World Bank, and in the European Parliament where he worked alongside other advisors in the Cabinet of the Parliament’s President. His main fields of interest include the European and German investment demand as well as politics of austerity.
Pierre holds an M.Sc in Management from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales de Paris, an M.A. in Public Policy from the Freie Universität Berlin, and a B.A. in Philosophy and Social and Cultural Anthropology from the Freie Universität Berlin. Pierre is passionate about forging links across and beyond Europe.
