Alexandra Appel

Dr. Alexandra Appel studied Geography, European Ethnology and Me- dia Studies in Marburg and Istanbul and received her PhD in Economic Geography in 2014. Between 2014 and 2022 she was academic coun- selor, researcher and lecturer at the Institute of Geography at Julius- Maximilians University in Würzburg and focused on transformation processes in transport and mobility as well as social acceptance and le- gitimation processes of change. Since 2022 she is a Senior Research As- sociate and head of the mobility department at IKEM in Berlin.
