Michael Rimmel
Representative in Germany

Michael Rimmel is the representative of the Israel Public Policy Institute (IPPI) in Germany. In addition to his work at the IPPI, Michael serves as Personal Advisor to the President of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation Dr. Norbert Lammert. In his previous function, Michael has worked as senior advisor to the President of the German Bundestag. In addition, he has worked at the Foundation for the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe in Berlin and served as s research associate in the department of Political Science of the Tel Aviv University. He participated in the International Parliamentary Scholarship Program (IPS) of the German Bundestag where he worked as parliamentary assistant with the Christian Democratic party.

Michael holds a B.A. in political science and International Relations from the Freie Universität Berlin and the University of Tel Aviv and Master’s degree in Political Science from the Tel Aviv University. ​
