Henning Lahmann

Dr. Henning Lahmann  was a Visiting Fellow at IPPI to conduct research on disinformation campaigns and their international and national legal implications.

Henning is a senior researcher at the Digital Society Institute at the ESMT Berlin, where his research focuses on national cyber security strategies, transnational security, human rights, internet governance, and the legal and political implications of algorithmic decision-making processes. Henning also worked as a senior policy advisor at the Berlin-based think tank iRights.Lab.

Henning holds a PhD in public international law from the University of Potsdam. After studying law and philosophy at the University of Hamburg and the Univerzita Karlova in Prague, he was a research fellow at the Walther Schücking Institute for International Law at the University of Kiel, the University of Potsdam, and at the Collaborative Research Center ‘Governance in Areas of Limited Statehood’ at the Freie Universität Berlin.
