Promoting environmental innovation
The IPPI offers young professionals from the field of environmental policy from Germany the opportunity to take part in its fellowship program "Environmental Innovation - German-Israeli Perspectives".
The Fellowship program will provide young professionals in the field of sustainability the opportunity to exchange with some of Israel's leading thought leaders in the field and gain firsthand professional experience while learning about the central challenges facing the country in the fields of environment and sustainability. In the framework of the program, the fellows will be required to write a policy paper that will focus on a common environmental challenge in Israel and in Germany based on a research proposal that will be submitted as part of the application package. During the program the fellows will be able to reach out to the partners of the IPPI and the HBS in order to familiarize themselves with the relevant actors in the Israeli eco-system. |

Program Details
When Two placements available, 4-6 months long between April 1st and December 21st
Where Tel Aviv and Jerusalem Structure Fellows will work both at the MoEP and at the Heinrich Böll Foundation Remuneration Some costs will be reimbursed The program is intended for young leaders from Germany who are interested in the area of Ecology and Sustainable Development and who have already gathered relevant experience in the field. We are looking for exceptional university graduates that will be integrated into the routine work of the Ministry of Environmental Protection as well as the Israeli office of the Heinrich Böll Foundation. Over the course of the program, the selected fellow will be expected to complete the writing of a policy paper pertaining to the themes of the program, namely climate and energy policy, green economy and smart growth, urban resilience and sustainable communities in addition to the fulfillment of routine tasks. |
